There will be an open gym for all boys in grades 4-6 interested in basketball on THURSDAY in Plaza from 5:30-7:00. Adam Lee will be running the open gym. There will be a bus for Berthold boys leaving Berthold School at 5:00 and returning by about 7:30. The Lewis and Clark boys sports nickname committee met and identified five names to submit to the board. (meeting Dec.10)

5) Grizzlies
The board will determine which names and how many to send out to the public for a vote.
The NSP Elementary Student Council served concession at the Junior High Wildcat girls season opener. They sported their purple shirts in honor of Alzheimer's awareness and collected donations for Alzheimer's research a cause near and dear to the North Dakota State Student Council. This group worked hard, learned new skills, and showed some awesome Wildcat Pride🐾

Today the Elementary student council put on a Thankful pep rally for the Elementary students. We honored the November students of the month and displayed the generous donations for our can food drive. All donations will be sent to the Makoti food pantry.

First grade is working hard on practicing their addition fluency with their 5th grade buddies. They have also learned all about how the Thanksgiving Day parade floats are made and had fun creating their own!
This week, our NSP 5th graders have been busy crafting some incredible adventure stories! 🌟 A big shoutout to Mrs. Rynstad's Junior and Senior class for stepping in to help with the editing process. Your guidance is invaluable! 📖✨
This morning we became aware of a threat posted on social media by a former NSP student. This student is NOT returning to NSP. Both Ward and Mountrail County Sheriff's Depts are aware and a deputy will be at the school on Monday.

Kindergarten and their 4th grade buddies were busy designing Thanksgiving supper tables. They were given dominoes, popsicle sticks, and a paper feast that had to set on the table without touching. There were tables with different levels and even some with chairs! Great teamwork and brainstorming for this great Thanksgiving activity.
