Every week in 3rd grade there is a special work that the students learn. Last week, the word was "Marmalade". Students take their word of the week home on Tuesday and bring it back by Friday. During the week, the students and their parents can look up the definition, draw a picture, find a picture, make a structure, or do something else to represent the word. Luke brought Marmalade and bread in for all of the students to try! It went over pretty well. Everyone tried some marmalade to mixed reviews - some really liked it, other thought it was "just ok"!
