Students using a micro:bit to follow a treasure map

Sophomore Intro to Programming students recently coded micro:bits to function like a compass and display the direction they're facing. Groups of students used their micro:bits to creates instructions (such as 20 paces south, 13 paces southeast, etc.) to find an object they had hidden. Other groups attempted to follow the instructions and locate the hidden "treasure."Students using a micro:bit to look for hidden treasure.Students using a micro:bit to look for hidden treasure.Micro:bit facing south.
