Sophomore Intro to Programming students have been learning all about the binary number system (0s and 1s)--the basis for it, how it works, and how to convert between the decimal (base-10) system and the binary (base-2) system. The Flippy Do is a great manipulative to help in converting between these two systems. In case anyone is wondering, the "10" on the board is the Number "2" in binary.
