For Giving Tuesday, Junior Financial Literacy students researched non-profit organizations that they would one day like to support. One of the foundations that we have learned about in class includes being charitable and making a plan for doing so. Whether we give of our money or our time, giving helps to support those in need and contributes to our sense of community. Additionally, giving has been shown to increase a person's overall level of happiness.
