Berthold Elementary students were lucky enough to receive a visit from high school student Martin Heberlie and his dog Bruno. Bruno went through obedience school with Martin, and because of his calm demeanor, was suggested as a great candidate for therapy dog training. Martin continued working with him and is now able to utilize him as such. Martin presented to the elementary students this morning and shared information on what was required of Bruno to become a service dog and what it means to be one.
Afterward, Martin and Bruno visited individual classrooms so students could ask more questions and give him all of the belly rubs. It is hard to say who loved it more. Thanks for being a good boy, Bruno!
