The Earth Science students were tasked with how does the amount of water affect the boom of the alka seltzer tablet in a film canister. The students had to due research on how 2 ml of water would affect the explosion of the film canister. With that information, they had to develop a hypothesis and come up with their own experiment on how adding more water would affect the explosion. Would more or less water affect the explosion? When done with the experiment, they have to graph the information and tell whether or not their hypothesis was supported. The students were certainly surprised about how far the film canister would go.
