In Applied Biochemistry, we have been talking and learning about how colors and wavelengths work. The chemistry behind colors and the history of dye. So in class we made Tie Dye t-shirts. The students had to design their own pattern and make the pattern come to life with dye. They had to focus in on the wavelength of light that they wanted to see for example red has a wavelength of 700 nm. Here are their projects above and below. They did a great job.
